Dan Lovinger

Dan Lovinger is a Principal Architect in the Windows File Server team with a current focus on system performance and architecture. Since joining what was then the Windows NT Base team in 1995, he has worked across the local and remote/distributed file systems and kernel support for memory cache management. From 1996 to 2001 he led Microsoft's participation in the Optical Storage Technology Association's standardization of the UDF filesystem. Dan is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon and holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics/Computer Science.
