Ásgeir Eiriksson joined Chelsio from Silicon Graphics, where he was responsible for protocol design, ASIC chip design and implementation, and formal design methodology. A member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE, Ásgeir holds a PhD and MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. He holds more than 30 patents in computer architecture, computer aided design methods, networking and host interfaces.
